We held our Remembrance Service at 2pm on Sunday 11th November. Thanks to Rev Calder for leading the service. 4 wreaths were laid by members of the community and the service closed with our local piper, Kevin Scott, playing.
Despite the weather there was a healthy attendance with a fair few locals attending and showing their respects. The Hall was busy afterwards with home bakes and refreshments being served. £200 was raised in donations which will be sent to Poppy Scotland, thank you to everyone who donated.
The memorial looked resplendent once again with the Glass SWI poppy decoration.
Final thanks to those members of the GCA committee who arranged the event and the home bakes. Another great collaboration from so many members of the Glass Community.
